A 2D real-time strategy game that I developed together with five friends between 2003 and 2008. As one of the two lead developers, I was responsible for half of the 110,000 lines of C++ source code, including pathfinding, the map editor, parts of the user interface and artificial intelligence. I also designed a large number of graphics and visual effects. A first version was released as freeware in 2006, got downloaded more than 50,000 times and won the Newcomer Award at the German Game Developer Award that year. In 2008, a polished version of the game was released commercially and hit the shelves in major German retail stores and at Amazon.
